About moments over memories
Moments Over Memories was born from a simple realization: sometimes it isn't about what someone remembers, but about how they feel in the moment.
Created with love for individuals living with dementia and the people who care for them, Moments Over Memories celebrates connection, comfort, and the little moments that become meaningful in their own way.
Handcrafted with purpose
No two creations are exactly alike. Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted, making each one uniquely its own- just like every person's journey with Alzheimer's and dementia is unique. 10% of every purchase is donated to Alzheimer's research, helping support the search for better treatment and, ultimately, a cure.

EVERY CREATION HAS A STORY

From Vintage finds to thoughtfully chosen treasures, each piece is transformed into something meaningful. We love giving beautiful things a new purpose and creating keepsakes that help celebrate the moments that matter.

our story
One evening in May 2025, a colleague, my husband, and I were having dinner before heading to a resident’s birthday celebration. We began talking about the resident and wondering whether they would know I was there, whether they would remember the celebration, and what that experience would mean to them.Somewhere in that conversation, I said, “Maybe it’s about the moment, not the memory.”Those words stayed with me.Later that month, on my birthday, that same colleague, my husband, and a small group of friends celebrated with me over dinner. Among my birthday gifts was a beautiful notebook from my colleague, encouraging me to explore the idea of Moments Over Memories.A few months later, my husband and I talked about the idea again. He encouraged me to take the first step and trademark the name. And I did. From there, the idea began to grow.Working with families and loved ones living with dementia, I see people come into the neighborhood wanting so badly to connect, but sometimes wondering, “What can I do with my loved one?”I began imagining simple, meaningful things they could do together—a tea set to share a quiet moment, something to plant and watch grow, a notebook to capture a special moment, or a small keepsake that could become meaningful long after the visit was over. And then came another important piece: giving back.I wanted Moments Over Memories to not only create meaningful experiences, but also contribute to Alzheimer’s research and the continued search for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. What started as one simple thought over dinner became a name, an idea, and now a growing collection of keepsakes created with love.Because sometimes we may not remember every detail—but we can still create a moment that matters. 💜
